HalfordsCarrera Kid's Range Bike Graphics
Challenge / Carrera is one of Halford’s own cycle brands. Our brief was to redesign the graphics for the kid’s range of bikes to better support the premium and more technologically advanced nature of the products, whilst adding impact and being more relevant to the target market than previous Carrera designs.
Response / Our solution resonated with the audience because it took cues from kid’s popular culture, and included the creation of a technology themed sub brand – ‘c-tech’ – along with cool scientific-style icons and type styles which visually represented the essence of the name of each bike.
Results / Sales bucked the downward economic trend and rose sharply with the introduction of the new range, with demand outstripping supply on some models.
